Steeleaf Armor is armor which is unique to the Labyrinth in that it must be found in Labyrinth chests or minor landmark chests or crafted from Steeleaf, which must also be found in Labyrinth chests. Like Fiery Armor and Ironwood Armor, Steeleaf Armor receives innate enchantments when crafted or spawned in with use of NEI, unlike Naga Scale Armor which only receives enchantments when crafted. Steeleaf Armor is equivalent in both protection (gives 16 armor units or 8 bars) and durability to Ironwood Armor, but Steeleaf Armor receives higher level enchantments and a wider variety of enchantments. Thus, Steeleaf Armor will protect better against a wider variety of threats for a shorter period of time, as higher level enchantments put a greater strain on armor's durability. Steeleaf Armor is 80% as durable as Fiery Armor, equivalent to Ironwood Armor and 1/3 more durable than regular Iron Armor.
Enchantment/Durability Breakdown[edit]
- Steeleaf Helm: Projectile Protection II, 220 durability.
- Steeleaf Plate: Blast Protection II, 320 durability.
- Steeleaf Legs: Fire Protection II, 300 durability.
- Steeleaf Boots: Feather Falling II, 260 durability.
Steeleaf Armor can also be found in the secret room in the Labyrinth, in which case the armor will have either higher level enchantments or different enchantments altogether than the ones listed above. However, durability of the armor remains the same whether it is crafted or found in the secret room.
