Cocoa Beans are a Vanilla Minecraft item. They can be found as cocoa pods, which grow on the side of jungle trees. It is also used for making Cookies. They can also be used as a fuel source for MineFactory Reloaded's Bio Reactor.

MineFactory Reloaded's Fruit Picker machine can be used to automate the collection of Cocoa Beans.

Cocoa Beans could be used as a dye to change Wool and other items to a brown color. However, this has been changed in MC 1.14 and Cocoa Beans have to be crafted into Brown Dye first, before being able to dye blocks and items.
