The Mana Pool is a block added by the Botania mod.
This block stores Mana from generating flowers and supplies it to nearby Mana consuming flowers and any adjacent Mana Spreaders. It receives Mana from a burst emitted by a Spreader. A Spark may be placed above a Mana Pool to enhance it and send/receive Mana between Pools and other Mana receiving blocks without the use of a Spreader.
It also functions as a crafting station. Valid items tossed into a Mana Pool with enough Mana stored will be infused with Mana for a new item. All recipes are documented in detail in the Lexica Botania. Hovering over the Mana Pool while holding a valid item will show the resulting recipe and whether the Pool contains enough Mana to complete it.
The amount of Mana in a Pool can be displayed as a bar by right clicking the Mana Pool with a Wand of the Forest. It has an internal buffer of 1,000,000 Mana. Shift-right clicking the Pool with a Wand of the Forest will switch modes between Accepting and Sparing. Accepting will allow the Pool to accept any mana inside of mana holding items such as the Mana Tablet dropped into it until it is full. Sparing will allow the Pool to fill any mana holding items dropped into it until it is empty. An animation will show these items filling, this feature may be disabled in the mod's Config file (as of version R1.1-82).
Right clicking the Pool with any color of Floral Powder will dye it. Mana Pools which have a Mana Void, Alchemy Catalyst, or Conjuration Catalyst underneath will have a changed texture to indicate their new function.

Usage[edit]
Mana Pool can be used to create the following items:Note[edit]
- Prior to version R1.8 238, Mana Pool was only craftable by tossing a Diluted Mana Pool into another Diluted Mana Pool with 320 mana in it.
- Prior to version R1.8 243, dyeing a Mana Pool was done by tossing a Floral Powder at it.
