Iron Golems are mobs that spawn naturally in villages, and can be constructed by placing 4 Iron Blocks in a 'T' shape and adding a Pumpkin (a Carved Pumpkin since MC 1.13) or Jack o'Lantern on the top as a head. They can be killed to obtain Iron Ingots. Iron golems cannot be spawned in an Auto-Spawner to create iron farms.

Iron Golems also spawn in large Villages and will defend them from monsters and players who attacked Villagers.

  1. ↑ Iron Golems won't drop more items when killed with Looting enchantment.
