Tainted Lands

Tainted Lands Biome

Tainted Lands is a biome added by Thaumcraft 4 mod. It can be commonly found in the Overworld. The following list of blocks, mobs and structures can be found in this biome:

• Grass, foliage, water, sky colors are purple.
• Fibrous Taint is found everywhere on the ground in this biome. It slowly spreads to the adjacent surfaces, both horizontal and vertical.
• Spore Stalk, Tainted Grass, Tainted Plant can be found on the surface along with normal Grass.
• Formations of 5-24 Crusted Taint blocks in spherical shape can be found on the surface.
• Logs of trees in this biome slowly decompose in Crusted Taint and Dirt and Grass - in Tainted Soil.
• Crusted Taint formations left for a long time form a Taint Spore Spawner in the middle.
• The following mobs are unique to this biome: Taint Swarm, Taint Tendril, Taintacle, Tainted Chicken, Tainted Cow, Tainted Crawler, Tainted Creeper, Tainted Pig, Tainted Sheep, Tainted Villager.
• All of the nodes generated in such biome become tainted. If moved to other places, they will start spreading the Tainted Lands biome around them.

This biome can spread by itself, the speed of the spreading is configurable in the main config file.
