Node Stabilizer is a block added by the Thaumcraft 4 mod. It can be placed below an Aura Node to stabilize it, preventing the node from spawning Furious Zombies, changing the biome, draining itself or other nodes. It is higly recommended to place this machine under each node around Wand Recharge Pedestal.

Thaumonomicon Entry[edit]
"This handy device has several beneficial effects if placed below a node.
Firstly it prevents the node from draining vis from other nodes, or being drained in turn. Secondly it prevents unstable nodes from losing their vis and it has a tiny chance of eventually removing the unstable condition completely. Lastly it has a very, very small chance of turning fading nodes into pale nodes.
This requires power however and the Node Stabilizer draws this from the node itself. It does not draw enough to reduce the vis of the node, but it does halve its normal recharge rate.
Applying a redstone signal will switch the stabilizer off."
Recipe[edit]
Usage[edit]
Node Stabilizer can be used to create the following items:Notes[edit]
- A useful trick in feeding nodes to other nodes is to keep a node stabilizer under the "food" node with a lever or redstone current connected. When you are ready to "feed" the node you want, pull the lever and let it feed until the food node has at most 2 of an aspect left. After it gets to this point, pull the lever and the node can once again charge to full power without losing any aspects. Now all you have to do is wait, but then you can repeat this process over again. This does take more patience than some thaumaturges have but it really pays off.
