Inventarium
The Inventarium is a multiblock structure used to store and retrieve items added by the Automagy 1 mod.
Contents
Main Part[edit]
Components[edit]
In order to construct the main part of the Inventarium, the player needs:
- 1 Amber Block or 1 Amber Bricks
- 8 Bookshelf or 8 Enchanting Bookshelf or 8 Ensorcelled Bookshelf
- 1 Order Crystal Cluster
- 1 Inventarium Core
Construction[edit]
- Place Amber Block or Amber Bricks.
- Place Order Crystal Cluster on top of the Amber Block or Amber Bricks.
- Place 8 Bookshelves or 8 Enchanting Bookshelves or 8 Ensorcelled Bookshelves in a ring around the Order Crystal Cluster, omitting the central blocks on each side of the ring. The part of the ring that remains should fit in 5x5 square, not in 3x3 square and be symmetrical around the Order Crystal Cluster. The ring should be on the same y level as the cluster.
- Place Inventarium Core on top of the Order Crystal Cluster.
Function[edit]
The main part is able to store items provided by the other parts. The player cannot take or place items in it directly. This part requires no energy or any other substances to function.
Input Part[edit]
Components[edit]
For each input setup (there may be several per one main part) the player needs:
- 1 Unseen Scribe
- 1 Container to set the type of the containers the Unseen Scribe will register OR 1 Scrivener's Oculus and 1 container of each type the Unseen Scribe will register.
- Several containers of the type set by the container used or of the types set by Scrivener's Oculus with items to be registered by the main part.
- CV supply for the Unseen Scribe
Construction[edit]
- Additionally: Place one or several Order Crystal Clusters in 7x7x7 area around the main part, centered on the Inventarium Core. In the following stages the amount of crystals placed will be marked N.
- Place the Unseen Scribe in the area of (10+8*N)x(10+8*N)x(10+8*N) centered on the Inventarium Core. Up to (1+N) Input Parts can be present in one construction.
- Additionally: Place the Scrivener's Oculus on the Unseen Scribe, then place each type of containers the Unseen Scribe should recognise inside it or link the containers with Crystalline Eye and place the eye it it instead. The Crystalline Eye should not match the type of containers inserted in the oculus manually. The maximum distance between the oculus and the container has to be (8+M) where M is the amount of Crystalline Eyes installed.
- If no oculus was placed, then any type of containers (for example a Chest) should be placed behind the Unseen Scribe.
- Place containers of the type matching the type of the container placed behind the Unseen Scribe or of the types set in the Scrivener's Oculus in the area of (7+M)x(7+M)x(7+M) centered on the Unseen Scribe. Place items in these containers.
- Right-click on the Unseen Scribe with any wand, this will link it to the nearest Inventarium.
- Supply CV to the Unseen Scribe.
Function[edit]
This part will add all the containers in the area around it to the Inventarium, then the multiblock will be able to operate with these containers. Note that the total amount of space in these containers in all input parts linked to the multiblock cannot exceed 432 stacks (12 Chests) for normal Bookshelves, 1728 stacks (32 Chests) for Enchanting Bookshelves or 3888 (144 Chests) for Ensorcelled Bookshelves. This amount can be expanded by placing more of these types of bookshelves in the area of 3 blocks from the Inventarium Core.
Order Part[edit]
Components[edit]
In order to construct this part (there can be several order parts in one multiblock) the player needs:
- 1 Memory Block
- 1 Requisition Tome
- Additionally: 1 Melding Mirror or 1 Magic Mirror
- Additionally: 1 Dispersing Mirror
- CV supply for the Requisition Tome
Construction[edit]
- Place 1 Memory Block in the area of 7x2x7 (2 vertically) blocks 2 blocks below the Inventarium Core (centered on the Amber Block or Amber Bricks used to construct the main part and y level should be the y level of this central block and 1 below.
- If the placed Memory Block does not touch the central Amber Block or Amber Bricks, place an additional block of Amber Block or Amber Bricks next to the placed Memory Block, so the texture of the Memory Block will glow.
- Place Requisition Tome in the area of (10+8*N)x(10+8*N)x(10+8*N) centered on the Inventarium Core.
- Right-click the Requisition Tome with any wand to link it to the Inventarium.
- Supply CV to the Requisition Tome.
- Additionally: Place Melding Mirror in the area of 7x7x7 blocks centered on the Requisition Tome and link it to the Tome using Crystalline Eye to make the Requisition Tome to drop the ordered items into this mirror. Magic Mirror can be used instead of Melding Mirror but will have less functionality.
- Additionally: Place Dispersing Mirror in the area of 7x7x7 blocks centered on the Requisition Tome and link it to the Tome using Crystalline Eye to make the ordered items inserted in other Dispersing Mirrors linked to this multiblock to drop from this one.
Function[edit]
This part is used to monitor the items stored in the Inventarium and to order items for extraction. Extracted items can go in different ways, they can be inserted in any specified container, dropped from the linked Dispersing Mirror for the player to collect or go in the system of Melding Mirrors and Magic Mirror to be transferred anywhere else. This part does not extract items from the multiblock itself, the other part has to be used to operate the orders and to extract the items.
Output Part[edit]
Components[edit]
In order to construct 1 output part (there can be several parts of this type in one multiblock) the player needs:
- 1 Memory Block
- 1 Golemic Taskmaster
- 1-6 Golems
- 1-6 Golem Animation Core (Fill)
- 1-6 Containers or 1-6 Melding Mirrors or 1-6 Dispersing Mirrors
Construction[edit]
- Place 1 Memory Block in the area of 7x2x7 (2 vertically) blocks 2 blocks below the Inventarium Core (centered on the Amber Block or Amber Bricks used to construct the main part and y level should be the y level of this central block and 1 below.
- If the placed Memory Block does not touch the central Amber Block or Amber Bricks, place an additional block of Amber Block or Amber Bricks next to the placed Memory Block, so the texture of the Memory Block will glow.
- Place the Golemic Taskmaster in the area of (10+8*N)x(10+8*N)x(10+8*N) centered on the Inventarium Core.
- Place 1-6 output devices (mirrors or containers) in the area of 7x7x7 blocks centered on the Golemic Taskmaster. The amount of output devices placed will be K.
- Place K golems on top of each output device.
- Link each of the golems placed with Golemancer's Bell to the container and its side of the containers of the Input Part. Each container has to be linked to one and only one golem.
- Equip all golems with Golem Animation Cores (Fill).
- Additionally: equip all golems with Golem Upgrades: Fire or Golem Upgrades: Air to make them able to carry more items and move faster.
- Link all the golems to the Golemic Taskmaster by right-clicking the Golemic Taskmaster with Golem Linking Bell and then right-clicking each golem with this bell.
- Link the Golemic Taskmaster to the Inventarium Core by right-clicking it with any wand.
Function[edit]
This part will fulfull orders given by the Order Part and extract the items from the containers using golems and put them into mirrors or output containers. This part is not operated by the player, it can only fulfill orders. Each of the containers linked to each of the Input Parts of the multiblock has to have 1 golem to take from it. It is best to design the system so the golems have to travel the shortest distance from the container they take from to the device they put the items in.
Construction of Full Multiblock[edit]
The instructions below show the reader the way to construct the most powerful Inventarium that is tilebale and can be easily extended to fulfill all needs. The amount of components used to construct this multiblock is much bigger than required and mush smaller than maximum to make it work at full capacity.
This structure will have these parameters:
Inventarium Slots: 80676 (up to this amount of stacks). Up to 5,136,264 items.
Scribes: Up to 53, used 4.
Memory: Up to 77, used 9.
Components of This Structure[edit]
- 1 Inventarium Core
- 1 Aura Node
- 1 Node Stabilizer
- 1 Node Transducer
- 1 Block of Redstone
- 1 Requisition Tome
- 2 Magic Mirror
- 4 Unseen Scribe
- 4 Scrivener's Oculus
- 5 Vis Relay
- 8 Golemic Taskmaster
- 16 Trapped Chest
- 21 Amber Block
- 32 Chest
- 48 Melding Mirror
- 48 Silverwood Golem
- 48 Golem Animation Core (Fill)
- 48 Golem Upgrade: Air
- 48 Golem Upgrade: Fire
- 53 Order Crystal Cluster
- 56 Crystalline Eye
- 77 Memory Block
- 167 Ensorcelled Bookshelf
Stages of Construction[edit]
- Build 7x2x7 hole and prepare Main Part.
- Place Inventarium Core to finish the main part.
- Place 20 more Amber Blocks to activate required Memory Blocks.
- Fill the bottom part of the hole with Memory Blocks.
- Fill the top part of the hole with Memory Blocks.
- Place first ring of Order Crystal Clusters to expand the range of the Inventarium.
- Place the remaining Ensorcelled Bookshelves to greatle boost the Inventarium capacity, fill the gaps with Order Crystal Clusters
- Place the Chests and Trapped Chests.
- Place and link Unseen Scribes and Golemic Taskmasters. Place Scrivener's Oculus on each of the Unseen Scribes. Link each Scrivener's Oculus with 1 Chest and 1 Trapped Chest with a Crystalline Eye.
- Supply the structure with CV.
- Place 2 Magic Mirrors, link them, then place and link all Melding Mirrors to one of them using Crystalline Eye.
- Place golems on each Melding Mirror.
- Animate, upgrade and link all golems to their destination and to taskmasters.
- Place, link and supply CV to the Requisition Tome.
Using the Structure[edit]
Upon opening the GUI of the linked Requisition Tome, the player will see the items stored in all Inventarium, clicking on one of them will add it to the order list. Clicking with Ctrl key will add 10 and clicking with Shift key will add stack. Golems will immediately start fulfilling the orders, each working with own storage, they will take the items and put them in their mirror. Then the mirrors will send all items they receive to one of the Magic Mirrors, and that one will send the items to the other, standing on which the player will automatically collect the items. Placing new items into the structure can be automated by placing them in container from which the equal amount of golems to the golems which take will place the items into the system, each in own storage.
Integration with Other Mods[edit]
The machine can accept all containers with an inventory in which items can be stored. This can be any type of chest, from Iron Chests, cabinets from Extra Utilities, barrels from JABBA or any other containers. Furnaces, Droppers, Dispensers and other machines are also supported.
Integration with Applied Energistics[edit]
As this machine has the same functions as the storage system in Applied Energistics 2, using both is not recommended. Still, there may probably be several circumstances, under which, this may be profitable. For this, Wireless Golem Backpacks can be used to make the golems insert and output the items in the Inventarium from the ME system and vise versa. ME Storage Bus can be used to share the same items between ME network and Inventarium.
