"Vishrooms are odd little things. Growing as they do in environments awash in magic, you'd think they would have many useful applications in thaumaturgy, but their parasitic nature seems to get in the way. Just approaching one is enough to get you sick. Eating one - well, that seemed incredibly foolish.

You did it anyway.

Vishroom stew, as you've called it, is very objectionable as a food source but despite its many side effects, you feel it has helped open your mind. In what way, you aren't entirely sure, but you are sure your experiment is yielding results.

Having tasted success, you've decided to see what the effects would be when other things came into contact with your creation. It turns out that the other mushrooms you initially added just to help you stomach the thing are a crucial component, keeping the concoction stable (relatively, anyway). By placing the stew into a large container (such as a thirsty tank) where it can settle for a moment, you can then pull out a bucket of "soup" suitable for uses beyond consumption.

Many of this liquid's properties are unknown as of yet, but first observations point toward the larger concentrations (source blocks) creating fungi and greatly amplifying the whispers you receive from beyond while you are immersed in
