The Staff of Duplication is an item added by Witchery mod. It is not intended for use with regular play as it is a dev tool that the mod author left in the game. It can create schematics and duplicate portions of the world. To use one would right click a point in the world which starts the selection and to close the selection right click on another point which selects and remembers every point in that rectangular prism selected though it may not be visible. To duplicate one would right click and from that point right clicked the duplicated area will appear but clicking again can make it rotate and sneak right clicking will clear the remembered selection.
