The Rite of Icy Expansion is a spell added by the Witchery mod. It is one of Witchery's spells that can be used to create breathable spherical enclosures under liquids like under an ocean.

The spell is cast in an area around the ritual chalk circle and slowly pushes back liquids. Two additional coven witches are required for the base spell but if more witches are involved then the size of the icy expansion gets bigger.

This spell is how to make Perpetual Ice.
