The Infernal Infusion infuses the power of the nether into the player. This power grants the ability to enthrall creatures to do your bidding, and to optionally sacrifice them to acquire their power for a time.

The Infernal Infusion is an until death duration enchantment applied to the player added by the Witchery mod. It infuses the power of the Nether in the player allowing the player enthrall control over creatures and optional sacrifice temporary bonuses from the enthralled creatures. The enchantment is applied via the Rite of Infusion with an Infernal Animus.

Passive Abilities[edit]

This infusion grants no passive abilities by default but after sacrificing specific creatures passive abilities can be granted, see below.

Active Abilities[edit]

These require the Witches Hand.

  • Left-click: a close player/mob to command all mobs enthralled nearby to attack.
  • Left-click while holding shift: a close mob to enthrall the mob, this will make any hostile mobs passive towards you.
  • Left-click while holding shift: an enthralled close mob to sacrifice the mob and obtain specific abilities and powers.
  • Right-click: to use the last sacrificed creature's abilities, see below.
  • Right-click while holding shift: the ground to make enthralled mobs nearby that can move (see below), move to that location.

Creature Powers[edit]

To acquire creature powers you must sacrifice an enthralled creature to get the powers listed below. Some enthralled creatures are stronger than others, the table below also lists whether or not the creature can be commanded to attack, whether or not creatures of its type will ignore you, and whether or not the creature can be commanded to move.
