The Radio is a block added by the OpenBlocks mod. Similar to a vanilla Jukebox, the Radio can play music. Rather than playing Music Discs it streams music from internet radio stations which can be input into the radio with Tuned Crystals, similar to how a Music Disc works with a Jukebox. The radio available radio stations can be configured in the OpenBlocks config file. A redstone signal has to be applied to the Radio before it will start streaming music. In the newest snapshot of 1.3 version for 1.7.10, the radio has been removed because of technical reasons. The radio hasn't been added since.
Recipe[edit]
Trivia[edit]
- The strength of the applied redstone signal determines the volume of the audio played by the Radio.
- The Radio will only play music when the NotEnoughCodecs mod is installed. This mod provides the required codecs to decode the audio stream in Minecraft.
- The radio does not exist anymore in versions higher than 1.3. The item ID is removed as well.
