The Cyclic Assembler is an item added by the Thermal Expansion mod. An automated Crafting Table which produces items from a recipe stored on a Schematic. To use it, place a Schematic in the appropriate slot and the recipe on it will be crafted given all items needed are in the Assembler's inventory or piped in. A blank Schematic may be encoded with a recipe using the grid in the blue Schematic tab (right-hand side of the GUI), pressing the check mark will encode the pattern on the Schematic. This Schematic may be stored to use at a later time when the item is needed. The Assembler uses 20 RF per item crafted. If a recipe calls for a container of liquid, it may also be piped directly into the internal tank instead of supplying the containers.

Known Bugs

• With the 1.6 versions, when the NEI is enabled, items inserted in the blue grid template area may actually drop (recipe mode) or be deleted (cheat mode). A work around is to temporarily disable NEI by pressing the "O" key. This bug is fixed in the 1.7.10 version of the mod.
• In FTB Monster, the Cyclic Assembler will consume the Infusion Stones in Magical Crops recipes for crafting higher-tier essence.
