Tesseract Generator is a block added by the GregTech 4 mod. When combined with Tesseract Terminals, it allows both items and liquids to be accessed from across dimensions at significantly faster rates than the Item and Liquid Tesseracts of Thermal Expansion, making them useful for high-throughput lategame resource processing.

Usage[edit]

The begin with, the Tesseract Generator must first be placed with its back facing the target inventory and should be supplied with 128EU/t. When this is done it will begin generating a tesseract for that inventory specific to the frequency it is allocated. The frequency can be changed by right-clicking on the + and - signs on the front face of the Generator. Using a GregTech screwdriver to do this will change the frequency by increments of 64 instead.

To remotely access the contents of the inventory, a Tesseract Terminal should be placed down somewhere else (this does not have to be in any specific location or orientation), also supplied with 32EU/t and then it should be attuned to the frequency of the desired inventory. Note that if a channel currently has a Generator associated with it a '(Connected)' prompt will appear after the frequency number. For that point onward the Tesseract will effectively act as a proxy for the target inventory, and can have items and liquids pumped in and out of it as if it were the inventory itself.

Generators cannot occupy the same frequency as one another or else conflicts will occur, but they can still access the same inventory on different frequencies. Multiple Terminals linked to the same channel will all draw items and liquids at the same rate, so if the rate of withdrawal is not acceptable, more Terminals can simply be added to fix the problem.

The Tesseract Generator requires Medium Voltage (128 EU/t) to work and will explode if supplied by any higher voltage (unless Transformer Upgrades and/or HV-Transformer Upgrades are used).
