The Magnifying Glass is a tool added by Railcraft. Made with a Stick and a Glass Pane, when a Railcraft block, track or cart is right clicked with it equipped, it will display a message in the chat telling who placed the item. While mostly useless in single player, this can be useful on multiplayer servers with complicated interconnected rail systems.
