Warp Door is a block from Dimensional Doors. The warp door is used to exit Pocket Dimensions and link Rifts together.
Interaction[edit]
While this item can be used to exit pocket dimensions, it is recommended instead to use a Transdimensional Trapdoor, as a warp door will teleport the player relative to how far they have moved from the original door they entered, whereas a transdimensional trapdoor will transport them back to that door.
Going further into detail about the relative positions, this means that if the player enters a pocket dimension and walks 10 blocks forward, then places down a warp door, the player will emerge in the overworld 10 blocks forward from the original door. This stacks between pocket dimensions, so if they instead place a Dimensional Door where the warp door was, walk 10 more blocks forward in the new pocket dimension, and then place a warp door down, they will be teleported 20 blocks from the original door. While this can be useful in some cases, if one wishes to have a safe return back to the door they first entered it is best to simply use a transdimensional trapdoor.
Interactions with the environment are also present. If the player would normally end up teleporting back into an object the warp door will instead teleport them to the nearest 2 air blocks above them, which in most cases is the surface. This does not, however, apply to the player being teleported into the sky. It is possible to fall to your death in this case, if the fall is great enough.
