Vinteum Cap is only available if both Ars Magica 2 and Blood Magic installed. It can be used to cap any wand or staff core to form wand or staff respectively. Capping Witchwood Rod and Witchwood Staff Core is recommended because of mana conversion discount it applies: 1 vis will cost only 80 mana. It also applies 10% discount on vis usage.

"By infusing a Thaumium cap with Vinteum, you create a cap that, when combined with a Witchwood Wand Core, lowers its mana cost to only 80 per point of vis.
The Thaumium cap seems to meld well with Vinteum, offering the same 90% vis rate."
