Wand Focus: Liquefaction is an item added by the Thaumic Horizons mod. It can be used on any block to apply the following effects:

• Smelt all smeltable blocks to their smelting output.
• Smelt Stone to Lava.
• Smelt Ice to Water.
• Remove plantlife (Grass Block to Dirt ect).

The focus can be enchanted with Nuggets, Purity, Potency, Enlarge and Frugal. Each block requires different amount of time to be processed by the foci. Using the foci for one second will cost the caster 0.4

"Fusing your fire and excavation foci with the help of a diamond and some salis mundus has a curious result - a wand focus whose fiery beam interacts weakly with creatures but quite strongly with inanimate matter.

Blocks and loose items struck by its beam are rapidly smelted as though they had passed through a furnace. The fiery beam also melts ice, slowly transmutes unworked stone into lava, and burns away plant matter."
