Signature[edit]
Please maintain a modest signature, not the monstrosity you had at User:Felinoel/Signature/Sig5. Ridiculous signatures disrupt the flow of talk pages; your sig is there to identify you as the author of your comments, so it should, you know, do that. Succinctly. --timrem (talk) 05:26, 19 February 2013 (CET)
- Please don't edit articles in someone's userspace without their permission, it isn't against the rules yet but it will be once we have rules set up. Felinoel (talk) 00:26, 20 February 2013 (CET)
- True, I should have come to discuss it with you first before changing your page, I'm not actually sure why I slipped up there. I recognize that the rules are not yet established, and as such have been trying to act as appropriate given standard wiki etiquette. In my experience, editing another user's page is usually permitted in cases of vandalism or policy violation. I would hope that, once we have rules established, this would be reflected. I would also hope that, once rules are established, signatures which span multiple lines (such as Sig 5 does, even with the smaller text), or which don't display the user's nickname, are prohibited. As such, replacing a deviant signature would be justifiable. You have an entire User page on the wiki if you wish to be artistic or expressive; disrupting every discussion you participate in with an elaborate, oversized signature is poor etiquette. Happy editing! --timrem (talk) 01:02, 20 February 2013 (CET)
- I shrank and unbolded it, it is smaller now. Also, my signature here isn't even set up to use that yet. Felinoel (talk) 01:15, 20 February 2013 (CET)
- I saw those changes, but it's still carrying onto a second line on my screen. And though your new comments are currently not using your sig transclusion, there are still some pages copied over which use it. I first saw sig5 on the main page's talk page, where it was longer than some of your comments :P --timrem (talk) 02:20, 20 February 2013 (CET)
- That can't be true... my signature from back then doesn't even use that anymore..? ƒelinoel ~ (Talk) 00:21, 21 February 2013 (CET)
- Sorry if I wasn't clear: before this discussion, before I edited sig5, I saw it on the main page's talk page. Since your changes to User:Felinoel/Signature, you're right that sig5 is no longer used. --timrem (talk) 02:43, 21 February 2013 (CET)

Image Renders[edit]
How do you do the isometric image renders? Do you mind sharing the program with the public? ex. http://ftbwiki.org/images/thumb/0/01/Block_Crucible.png/128px-Block_Crucible.png 184.37.52.117 06:00, 10 April 2013 (CEST)
- Hey, sorry, but this is the wrong guy (as far as I am aware at least) to go to for this. Try RZR0. However, you may not be able to use it if you don't have a 1920x1080 screen. Wish I could offer more help, but I have to get to work. Best of luck, MadCrayolaz ® 13:20, 10 April 2013 (CEST)
- At the moment we're using the item renderer from ExtraBees to generate the images. RZR0 (talk) 17:42, 10 April 2013 (CEST)

How about if I set the old way it was written to being seen a third of the time while this new way gets seen two thirds? Randomizing the way it is seen, thoughts? . ƒelinoel_
About your user page[edit]
- You have a link to three templates that don't exist; Template:Red, Template:Blue, and Template:Note.
- If you could, please either delete them, or fill them so that they disappear from the Special:WantedTemplates section. Thanks. AQiccl135 (talk) 23:32, 10 July 2013 (CEST)

I need some help with images.[edit]
Hey there, there are missing a few images for TiC, namely the Mattock, Frying Pan, Chisel, Excavator, Hammer, Scythe and the Lumber Axe. How do I go about uploading these images into the website correctly? —Preceding unsigned comment added by MentolDP (talk · contribs)
- Please remember to sign your posts with four tilde.
- Different people upload them differently, but I believe the main guy who runs this place has a system in motion that is slowly adding them all... but you can add them yourself if you think you can. ƒelinoel ~ (Talk) 06:32, 23 August 2013 (CEST)
Request to Protect UU-Matter[edit]
I've talked with Timrem and we think the UU-Matter page should be protected from anonymous edits since it seems to be targetted for frequent vandalization by anonymous editors. Much appreciated --Kahless61 (talk) 18:29, 11 November 2013 (CET)
- Done, check it out - I haven't protected anything for ages :L OstPavel (talk) 19:18, 11 November 2013 (CET)
- Hmm personally I wouldn't recommend protecting pages here since anons are our number one editors... /: ƒelinoel ~ (Talk) 19:54, 11 November 2013 (CET)
- I agree, but in this case, this is a page that is being excessively vandalized by anons and, in my opinion, is unlikely to change much in the near future, especially since IC2 is focusing efforts on a complete re-do for 1.6, and the page at its current state is quite stable. --Kahless61 (talk) 20:00, 11 November 2013 (CET)

Tinkers'[edit]
felinoel: I've already updated all the categorizations. --timrem (talk) 20:03, 18 January 2014 (CET)
- You sure? They still show cached in the old category? . ƒelinoel_ 20:08, 18 January 2014 (CET)
- Yup, I'm sure. You're using the nocache version of the site, right? It's empty. --timrem (talk) 20:10, 18 January 2014 (CET)
- Whenever I use the nocache version with redirect=no it redirects me anyways, which brings me back to the original topic: Why the redirect? I deleted the redirect since it is just a category that isn't used. . ƒelinoel_ 20:24, 18 January 2014 (CET)
- I tend to prefer leaving redirects if a page name can be easily misspelled, though I do suppose it's less of an issue for Categories. --timrem (talk) 20:32, 18 January 2014 (CET)
- I agree with that thinking. . ƒelinoel_ 20:34, 18 January 2014 (CET)
- You did log in on the nocache site, right? Otherwise it will redirect you to the default site. --dgelessus (talk · contribs) 20:44, 18 January 2014 (CET)

Updating cache[edit]
I'm not sure what the purpose is of all of those "updating cache edits". You clear the cache by appending "&action=purge" to the url. RZR0 ( Talk | Contributions) 10:48, 19 January 2014 (CET)
- Unfortunately sometimes even that's not sufficient, for example to update the "What links here" or categories you have to hit "save page". However there's no need to actually change anything on the page, just saving is enough. I already told fel about that, but then it was already too late :P --dgelessus (talk · contribs) 11:28, 19 January 2014 (CET)
About ForgeMultipart[edit]
FYI, Project:Red only uses the ForgeMultipart API, Mr_TJP did not write it. If you take a look in the jar and check the mcmod.info file it also states ChickenBones as the author multiple times:
[ { "modid": "ForgeMultipart", "name": "Forge Multipart", "description": "Open source library for facilitation of multiple functional parts in the one block space.", "version": "1.0.0.236", "mcversion": "1.6.4", "url": "https://github.com/Chicken-Bones/ForgeMultipart", "authors": [ "ChickenBones" ] }, { "modid": "McMultipart", "name": "Minecraft Multipart Plugin", "description": "Provides multipart versions of some vanilla blocks like torches and buttons.", "version": "1.0.0.236", "mcversion": "1.6.4", "url": "https://github.com/Chicken-Bones/ForgeMultipart", "authors": [ "ChickenBones" ] }, { "modid": "ForgeMicroblock", "name": "Forge Microblocks", "description": "Microblocks for Forge Multipart.", "version": "1.0.0.236", "mcversion": "1.6.4", "url": "https://github.com/Chicken-Bones/ForgeMultipart", "authors": [ "ChickenBones" ] } ]

Featured Video[edit]
I know this happened back in March, but I'm only seeing it now: why did you add {{FV}} to a page with no videos on it? --timrem (talk) 17:18, 12 August 2014 (CEST)
Thaumcraft 3 pages[edit]
Why are you moving all Thaumcraft 3 pages to (TC3) postfixes instead of (Thaumcraft 3)? ~~ RZR0 (Talk | Contributions) 19:20, 12 January 2015 (CET)
- Because a year ago I said I would get to changing all of the /TC3 pages to (TC3) and no one said otherwise, I had some time to do it today so I did that and while doing that I noticed that there were a few articles that said (Thaumcraft 3) so I changed those to (TC3) to match. . ƒelinoel_ 19:30, 12 January 2015 (CET)
- Afaik it was agreed upon to use (Thaumcraft 3) as it follows the style guidelines... ~~ RZR0 (Talk | Contributions) 19:31, 12 January 2015 (CET)
- Afaik it was known that I was planning to move all of the /TC3 articles to (TC3) and I had never heard otherwise. I guess I will move them all to (Thaumcraft 3) then when I get the time. . ƒelinoel_ 19:34, 12 January 2015 (CET)
- I'll handle it when I can, spare you the trouble of doing it all over. =) ~~ RZR0 (Talk | Contributions) 19:41, 12 January 2015 (CET)
