The QuarryPlus is a block added by QuarryPlus. An automated mining machine that will dig resources from an area delimited by the Player all the way to bedrock, while supplied with sufficient energy. The QuarryPlus will keep the chunks in the area marked loaded to memory even if unpowered. The installation and operation of the QuarryPlus is essentially the same as the Quarry by BuildCraft with some added features. A PumpPlus may be placed next to the QuarryPlus, to extract all the fluids in the mining area, it is powered directly from the QuarryPlus. Second, the QuarryPlus requires a minimum of 300MJ/t to operate at full power, without any enchantments to reduce power usage. The fully upgraded QuarryPlus will mine about 18 blocks a second; which means you will need to pump all of the output to an ME Network. A single Diamond Chest will not suffice for storage of all of the output on a full sized 256 x 256 QuarryPlus, it will be filled up in just about 30 minutes. If you are going to use Diamond Chests, then you are going to need an entire stack of them. Not to mention a few Deep Storage Units filled with Cobblestone, Dirt, Gravel, and depending on the biome, Sand. A fully upgraded QuarryPlus takes around 70-80 hours to complete. It will dig about one layer of 256 x 256 area per hour.
