The MindCrack Pack is one of the modpacks developed by the FTB Team. This pack was created specifically for the MindCrack Network, a community of Let's Players who play on a private white-listed server named MindCrack. It was made available for public on December 23, 2012.
The current version of this pack is version 8.3.2 for Minecraft 1.4.7, released on May 28, 2013.
Notable features include GregTech 4 in "hard mode". This pack was once the only pack to use this setting by default, but now the Ultimate Pack features this as well. GregTech's "hard mode" may be disabled through the config files. With 41 different Forge Mods, MindCrack is the biggest FTB modpack beside the FTB Ultimate Pack and FTB Unleashed.
Along with the Direwolf20 Pack, the MindCrack Pack is considered to be the best pack for upgrading to the Ultimate Pack.[1]
