Ignis Bees are the type of bee added by Magic Bees that allows for the sustainable and renewable production of Fire Shards.

Production

Ignis Bees produce Firey Combs, which sometimes result in Fire Shards when the resulting Burning Propolis is further centrifuged. Burning Propolis can also be squeezed, which results in 250 mB of lava and allows for an 18% chance at acquiring a Fire Shard, a chance 8% greater than simply centrifuging it.

Requirements

Pure Ignis Bees require a Cold, Normal, Warm or Hot Climate and can tolerate any Humidity to start working, and at least one Magic Flower, either a Shimmerleaf or a Cinderpearl. Like all species, their traits can be modified through Bee Breeding.
