Energy Upgrade is an upgrade item added by the BetterChests mod. It can be applied to the Adjustable Chest by using it on the chest and to the Adjustable Bag by placing it in a crafting grid alongside the bag. The upgrade adds no functionality itself, but is a prerequisite to apply several other upgrades, such as the Collector Upgrade and the Planting Upgrade. If the mod is configured as such, actual energy is required for any upgrade using energy to function. This energy is produced by burning fuel items present in the inventory of the chest or bag.
