Component Bus

The Component Bus is a type of component from OpenComputers. It serves a purpose similar to that of a Central Processing Unit (CPU) in that it increases the number of components a computer can handle, but it must be installed in addition to a CPU and cannot run a computer on its own. Currently the only type of computer that supports Component Buses is the Server.

Tooltip Description[edit]

This expansion allows servers to communicate with more components at the same time, similar to how CPUs do.

Manual Entry[edit]

A Component Bus is a server-specific upgrade that allows the server to communicate with more components at the same time, without shutting down. Like with CPUs, higher tier buses provide higher component limits.
