Just out of curiousity. Does running a combustion engine -> magma crucible -> geothermal generator chain have some unknown benefit over just running the combustion engines off the produced fuel to power the refinery? A combustion engine running on fuel generates 6 MJ/t for 100,000 ticks, or 600,000 MJ per bucket. A refinery only needs 10,000 MJ to refine a bucket, so this is a cost of less than 2%, where you quote 5% via the chain. It's simpler and more efficient.--Chthon (talk) 20:24, 20 February 2013 (CET)
