The description might not be accurate, as far as I can tell tree saplings can be planted, however some tree types will not germinate.

So far I've seen oaks and MFR rubber trees grow. Dye trees will plant but do not grow unless the ground is cleared to dirt first. --212.159.121.228 12:29, 3 September 2014 (CEST)
