"2500, enough to process everything: 18 reinforced casings + 16 advanced casings + 2 lava "
That makes 3000, not 2500, right? 18*50 + 16*100 + 500 = 900 + 1600 + 500 = 3000. OstPavel (talk) 19:18, 27 March 2013 (CET)
One of the paragraphs above even mentioned Tungsten requiring 3000 heat, so even if their math was right, aiming for a temperature of 2500 wouldn't be correct. I changed it to 3000 as you showed. Iamtk421 (talk) 20:21, 27 March 2013 (CET)
The article says that 10 Standard + 24 Reinforced (with 2 lava in the middle) + two heating coil upgrades (Kanthal + Nichrome) is enough for 3000 K. I only get it to 2960 K. I doubt it will be a problem, I'm just reflecting that 2960 isn't equal to 3000. I'm using Ultimate 1.1.0. --Minken (talk) 10:12, 27 May 2013 (CEST)
- The behavior was changed in 1.1.0 (thanks to a sneak gregtech update). Back in 1.0.1 and before, it was 3000 K. Now you have to use coils, like the top of the article says. It just hasn't been updated yet. Feel free to do it if you know the numbers. --Kahless61 (talk) 17:52, 27 May 2013 (CEST)
- Ah, thanks. I used coils, just as the article said. 4 Kanthal Heating Coils and and 4 Nichrome Heating Coil. That gave me 2960 K. Seems like more testing is needed, not sure if I will do it though. --Minken (talk) 07:13, 28 May 2013 (CEST)
- Strange. In Ultimate 1.1.2, the same setup as I mentioned above gave me 3000 K. Problem solved, I guess. --Minken (talk) 01:11, 29 May 2013 (CEST)
