Versioning[edit]
GregTech has changed immeasurably since this was written. While no official packs use the updated version, many unofficial (e.g. TPPI) use more recent versions.
Does anybody have any ideas Re: Versioning to keep the multiple modpacks each able to see relevant data? The changes between then and now would probably double the page size and be confusing all in one page.
Perhaps archive this page and start from scratch?

- We could perhaps separate it by major mod or Minecraft version. The changes from 1.5 to 1.6 were somewhat large, but could still be manageable in the same article. The new GregTech 5 for 1.7 is significantly different though, it is pretty much necessary to create separate articles for that. --dgelessus (talk · contribs) 17:13, 8 July 2014 (CEST)
Disambig[edit]
These pages are written long ago (1.5.2 or 1.6.4 MC I suppose). Seems more like the final GregTech 4. So, ALL of these pages have to be moved to NAME (GregTech 4) version. I am going to document GregTech 5 Unofficial and it is nowhere near what is already written. So disambig is needed. Concerning GT5 and GT5U: GT5U has "a few" (~100) items added to the actual GT5 so I will merge them. Official Wiki has 2 navboxes, one for GT5, one for GT5U, I don't like this. If you got other ideas on how to do this, write them so the best solution can be made. --Antillar (talk) 19:22, 23 August 2016 (CEST)
- 100 isn't so much, it can be splitted on 2 categories "Items" and "Blocks" or like that. But "splitting" navbox at 2 different ones is good thing. Gt has machines, multiblocks and special tools - it is main one. crafting components and tools crafted with them isn't important, so they can be throwed away in other template. --WDA (talk) 19:42, 23 August 2016 (CEST)
