The Metallurgy 3 mod adds resources and metals to the game, such as real-world named ore, fantasy ore and strange Nether ore. It also adds machines for processing metals, armor, tools and weapons. The metals are divided into categories:

Swords[edit]

Many of the metals from Metallurgy can be crafted into swords with unique properties which apply on hitting another entity. Some of these are beneficial to the Player, while others are harmful to the victim. These effects have a 30% chance to apply with each hit.

Machinery[edit]

Metallurgy 3 adds 6 types of machines:

  • Crusher: This machine will slowly crush an ore into fine dust doubling production.
  • Metal Furnace: A faster, more fuel efficient Furnace.
  • Precious Metal Chest: An expanded inventory chest.
  • Mint: Converts a metal bar into coins when triggered by a Redstone pulse.
  • Smelter: A fast Furnace powered by Lava.
  • Abstractor: Converts a metal ingot into raw experience, consuming fantasy dust in the process.
  • Tartarite Enchanter: An upgraded version of the Enchanter.
